RR doll

I just got this wonderful creature from KM to work on this month. I love him/her!!! Now to figure out what to do. HMMMMM.

Doll RR

I just finished my part on a new RR doll. I just love her hand blown glass shoes and head. Since I have her first I had to choose from many options in trying to make her into a Victorian lady as requested by her owner. Should I make Victorian under garments, or a fabulous plumed hate, or a fancy evening bag, or a filmy lacey blouse or a skirt to start her out? I chose the skirt. I couldn't hide those shoes so made the skirt shorter in the front so the shoes will show when she is hung on the wall. Of course she had to have a bustle. She has several more doll makers to visit so I can't wait to see her completed.!!! Here she is so far.

Bag, bags, bags!!!

I have been really enjoying making bags lately. Bought a few, too, from Wildabandonbags, Tanya too. Her bags are beautifully made and I just love them. She came to our quilt club to teach a new bag that she designed for us and named it for us, too. Sun City Chic. Isn't that cute??? Here are some more bags that I have made. Two of them are tte bags and the fringed bag is from Tanya's class.

Sooo busy!!

I have been so busy this month. Teaching quiltmaking, fancy jackets, a hand bag and dolls at a Senior Center. But I have finished the main work on a new bag and just have to bead it. When? I don't know. I think that it will be really nice when the beading is finished. One photo shows the inside with pockets

orphan RR

Another box with a partially assembled doll will be on her way tomorrow.

sweatshirt jackets

I had the most fun of everybody in the room. Nine people were working on using a sweatshirt as a base to create their own wonderful jackets. I got to play artist in residence to brainstorm and work with them as they built the basic jacket afterwhich we will embellish and adorn the jackets to match each person's style. I will certainly post photos when they get finished. I was on a creative high!!! And as I usually do when teaching a class I'm building another jacket of mine to demo going through all the steps so I will have that one to show also. YAHOO!!!!!
