What do I do now??

I haven't finished anything in awhile. But I did take two completed quilt tops the the long arm quilter today. One is regular size and one is king size so I'm anxious to get them back so I can put bindings on them.

Look at these wonderful hand bags that Tanya Greb designed. She will be teaching them at our quilt club this spring. I can't wait!!!

Now I have to get stuff together for the class that Micki and I are teaching. Trash to Treasure dolls. I'll post pictures when they are done.

Dorit doll

This is as far as I am with the dorit doll. Can't wait to have time to do more.

Patti Culea doll#3 and Whisper

Hello Dollies have been using the Patti Culea books on skill building days. I have completed my third doll using combinations of her techniques. This one is called Feather Dancer.

The other doll club, Silver Dollers, is having Barbara Willis come to teach Whisper. Although I've taken the class once I'm taking it again to refresh what I learned before. So here are Feather Dancer and my Whisper.

Dorit's class

We had Dorit Schenzielorz here at Hello Dollies doll club for the past three days. It was wonderful. We learned so many techniques that will make our dolls so wonderful from the styrofoam egg head to the wire armature to the finished curvacious completed doll ready for costuming. We bought DVD's, doll pins and a couple of her actual dolls. I can hardly wait to see them all completed and we are scheduling Dorit to come back next year, too. It was three days of nonstop wonderment and fun from 10 to 5 each day.

Orphan parts round robin

The orphan parts round robin that I'm hosting on Doll Street is about to begin. Twenty people have signed up so there are going to be 2 groups. Here are the two parts I'm mailing to begin my doll as well as the journal I'm using this year. I hate to throw greeting cards away and keeping in the spirit of this RR I made my journal fom some old cards. I can't wait for the fun to begin.
