Oooops!!!

I forgot to include this wonderful flat doll that I also purchased at Pamela's booth.

Road to CA

Someone asked me to share my goodies from the Road to Ca quilt show. Well here are the photos of them except for the ironing board cover. Mucho plastic was used!!! But look at all the stuff to work with. Like when will I have time?? I think that I'll call it a collection. LOL In addition I've already sent some fabric to my sister from the show and also have some wonderful small treasures from Pamela's shop. You can't see it very well but there is one of Pamela's yummy month packs also. Oh well it only comes once a year.

finally

I finally made a doll. An easy to make doll for sure but hopefully it will inspire me to get busy on the ones that I want to make this spring. This one is made from a Christmas tie.

before and after using a muslin presewn doll

Here is a sample of a before presewn muslin doll and after it was dressed and embellished. They are perfect for experimenting with Paverpol, Apoxie Sculpt, Mod Podge and other new products. Mine has a polymer clay face added and paperclay shoes.

flat dolls

I forgot to mention that the two dolls, entitled Best Friends was made by Laura L and I purchased them from her. I made the flat Santas after a class with Barbara in Encinitas, Ca a few years ago. They are fun to make and just a little different and can hang on the wall if you are running out of space. They also make nice gifts.

Flat dolls

You may have seen these flat dolls before but am posting them again for the Doll RR to look at.
