After MANY years as a frustrated wannabe artist I was able to begin doing IT after quitting my jobs in education. I did infuse the arts into my teaching at every opportunity. Now I dabble in the fiber arts as much as possible. I also enjoy being with family, reading, playing poker, walking my dog, Beethoven and teaching quilting arts and other areas of the fiber arts.

What do I do now??
I haven't finished anything in awhile. But I did take two completed quilt tops the the long arm quilter today. One is regular size and one is king size so I'm anxious to get them back so I can put bindings on them.
Look at these wonderful hand bags that Tanya Greb designed. She will be teaching them at our quilt club this spring. I can't wait!!!
Now I have to get stuff together for the class that Micki and I are teaching. Trash to Treasure dolls. I'll post pictures when they are done.

Yvonne, this is my first visit to your blog! I enjoyed seeing what a wonderful variety of creations you've made! Your dolls are marvelous, and I SO envy your abilty to quilt, a thing I've never learned to do. I will be checking your blog daily to see ALL your lovely creations. By the way, I taught school for 22 years, so I understand what you mean about that teaching thing that remains in us! LOL!
