After MANY years as a frustrated wannabe artist I was able to begin doing IT after quitting my jobs in education. I did infuse the arts into my teaching at every opportunity. Now I dabble in the fiber arts as much as possible. I also enjoy being with family, reading, playing poker, walking my dog, Beethoven and teaching quilting arts and other areas of the fiber arts.

wire chair
Yesterday some of us who belong to Silver Dollers gathered at Bobbye's house to make doll chairs using coat hangers and # 16 wire. We designed our chairs with wire, used light weight wire to hold it all together and to help the warm and natural batting to hold tight as we wrapped the chair before using fabrics and embellishments to complete it. Here is how far it is right now.
Bobbye served a wonderful lunch featuring her famous tuna/pasta salad. She is a very gracious hostess.
It was a fun day with all 10 of us making our chairs.
