After MANY years as a frustrated wannabe artist I was able to begin doing IT after quitting my jobs in education. I did infuse the arts into my teaching at every opportunity. Now I dabble in the fiber arts as much as possible.
I also enjoy being with family, reading, playing poker, walking my dog, Beethoven and teaching quilting arts and other areas of the fiber arts.

Petals for our pillow petal exchange
I completed 16 petals to exchange with other members of our Embellishment Group. After exchanging the petals will make each of us a flower pillow. I can't wait to see what everyone else did with their petals!!
Yvonne, those are wonderful!!! the pillows are going to look wonderful. Are the bottom ones done on an embroidery machine? I only have my one sewing machine. hugs Karen
