After MANY years as a frustrated wannabe artist I was able to begin doing IT after quitting my jobs in education. I did infuse the arts into my teaching at every opportunity. Now I dabble in the fiber arts as much as possible. I also enjoy being with family, reading, playing poker, walking my dog, Beethoven and teaching quilting arts and other areas of the fiber arts.

needle felted gnome
Maurine Adrezen taught us how to needle felt a figure this week. We had a 2 day class making our gnomes. It was soooo fun and relaxing. Maurine is a good hostess, too. She not only taught the class in her wonderful studio but served us lunch both days. We are very lucky to have her among us. So here is my first needle felted figure. I love him and have to make another.
